I would contact Joseph Dvorak. I took his Business Law class at SJSU last semester. He knows the lawyer trade very well and he's a very mellow guy. I'm sure he'll be a great help to you. Unfortunately class is about to end soon so I'll update this post with his contact info later on today.

I use to work at a law firm in Downtown SJ and there was a guy that rented out an office in our firm and he did personal injury, criminal defense and car accidents.

Tell him Kristine from Hammer & Jacobs referred you. I used him personally on one of my car accidents several years ago and was pretty happy with his work. He talks fast so hopefully your gf has a fast ear.
