Either morning next week is fine with me, did you want to get a head count? We'll need extra jack and jackstands and maybe 1 or 2 drainpans. Mine is filled up already.

I will bring:

4 jack stands
the ramps
a pump
a car jack (if necessary.....I'll make my g/f drive a seperate car to haul the jack)
tranny fluid (Honda MTF)
drinks and a camera?????????????????


blureds2k - when you say gaskets, do you mean the crush washers???????? Or did I pick up the wrong things.

I have a LOT of beer from last week's BBQ so drinks are on me, someone just needs to help me out since I've never done tranny/diff change before.

I'm going to the new Reno-Fernley track on the 19th. Can't wait. Wish I could make Thunderhill, but I have to work that weekend.

If you guys are interested, I could also have it at my place on the 20th. I've got tons of tools and the room. My roommate is also a mechanic. I've done the diff change myself already, but not the tranny. I'll also do a mean BBQ. Not trying to steal your thunder Hyper..just offering.

i've got about 5500 miles on my car so far... is it too early to do a change?

i'd still like to come by anyway... at least to watch & learn. i can bring two jack stands and any munchies if needed.
