They do spot check now & then, depends who's managing the grid. I would check at home before you make your drive out there to see where you're at.

Most often, they eyeball it to determine if you're within margin or not. If it comes close, they can take out the broomstick.

I'm 5-9' and running the Harddog bar and I'm close.

So I split the difference between Baymont and Motel6 by booking at Days Inn.

Yeah, I guess I will test it out a bit more soon. I think it's pretty close for me as well. I do have a couple of helmets I can try, perhaps that will also have an effect.

Just a heads up.. Looks like the hotels have gotten more expensive. For 6/29 in June the Baymont is $67 and Motel 6 is $79 so they must have caught on to the race schedules at T-Hill.

They give you a discount if you mention your tracking at motel 6. I book through the phone with them. And they are pretty nice about it. I think my one night stay for single bed was about $65ish.

And motel 6 was renovated and really Clean. And updated.

Shit. I paid already oh well. Do they have enough parking for trailers over there at Motel 6 anyways? It looked small from the main road.

Saw one other S2k driving around tonight, presumably someone heading to the track...

Looking forward to my first track time with the S2000

That was a good time! I'm sure I didn't set any records, though I did get a little quicker with each session.
