Default NCRC Thunderhill 3/22/14

I recently signed up for the NCRC event at Thunderhill on 3/22/14. Looking forward to it as it will be my first track experience with the S2k

I've got a couple of questions:
1- How rigorous are they with the broomstick test? I've got an RSG rollbar and am 5'9", so I think I should be good. Anyway, my hardtop is completely bolted on and I'm not sure how it could really be tested without taking it off... Don't really want to do seat brackets and such right now unless it's really necessary.

2- Any hotel recommendations for the area? There aren't a ton of options, are there any to avoid?

I'm planning head up Fri after work, drive on Sat, and take photos on Sun morning before heading back.

Baymont was clean. Bathroom fan didn't work though.

I love staying at the Baymont. It's within walking distance of Black Bear, that Mexican restaurant, Mcd's and KFC and they have a decently sized indoor pool. Hot tub had a bunch of sand at the bottom of it so beware of that shit but otherwise I like that place considering how cheap it is.

I won't be at NCRC in March but I will be in June. Having a child cost's me track time lol.
