Default NASA Sears Point - Feb 2 and 3 ($179/day, $299 both days) - All HPDE 1-4 groups.

Hello,

There's a NASA event on Feb 2nd and 3rd at Sears Point. Wanted to get an idea of who would be interested in attending and when. You'll have to be a NASA member I gather (I just signed up, $30 membership I believe), details available at www.nasaproracing.com.

It sounds like a few folks are up for going on the 2nd. I was interested in both days, just to get the track time in personally, but I'm definately up with going with fellow locals. So who's in and for what day(s)?

Doh, and what group should I sign up for granted I've prior track time? Should I still stick with Group1 (beginner) to be evaluated and advance to Group2 or what? Any of you fellow NASA members have any suggestions?

Thanks.

I think you can do HPDE 2. Just grab one of us if you need help with the track. As soon as I get a response from Larisse on my $50 refund, I'll probably sign up. I will be doing HPDE 2 also.

I am going to wait until it gets closer to the event. I really dont want to run if its raining...so I will probably sign up the week of the HPDE.

Jay, you should definitely run HPDE 2. Like Gilbert said, grab another driver and they can take you through. I dont think I'll make it, but then again, if the weather is great and i have time... . Sears is a very fun track, less walls than LS, but still pretty technical. I thought it was easier, and I think you running group 2 will be no problem.
