Default N.W. 408 Body Shop reccommends?

. . . spun the car out in the rain like a champ. Mechanically is fine, but needs psgr. door work and rear body work (big time).

I live near Westgate (Saratoga Ave. and Williams), and work in Sunnyvale. Anyone have a good reccomendation on a body shop? State Farm has got the tab (after I let $500 of blood go. . . ). Thanks!

If you want to replace the passenger door, without bondo it I have one. No dings or dents.

Big thanks to everybody!

No, I didn't get pictures. . . basically the formula is this:
1. A new s2k
2. A good driver, but who came from a grossly understeering VW.
3. The first thunderstorm of the season
4. An onramp notorious for loose dirt (didn't know this until all the motorcyclists at work spoke up - Crossman onto Westbound 237)
5. Trying to accelerate into the flow of traffic.

Mix, Stir, enjoy. I consider myself lucky that the sucker didn't tail out into oncoming traffic.

I was gonna keep my mouth shut, but, I spun out my car last week, rail slid on a curb and ended in a small ditch. Took a turn a little too fast, hit the gas at the wrong time, combined with still wet payment and cold weather. Bam!! A lessoned learned. My front bumper and Amuse style lip need replacing, and possibly the subframe of the car. eeeshh!!
The car actually slid on my X-brace and it save the oil pan from getting chewed. So if there is any reasons for getting an X-brace, here is one of them.

With all that said, anyone selling an AMUSE Lip and an X-Brace???

Sunnyvale Auto Body has a reputation for doing quality work. They were the preferred body shop for BMW of Mountain View (and might still be).

Might as well chime in... just a little too aggressive with the gas in 2nd gear making a right turn at about 15 MPH. In the rain. A normal 90 degree turn turned into a 400 degree spin. Good thing there were no cars coming.

Was pretty lucky... low speed, wide lanes, so I didn't hit anything. Just felt pretty stupid having to do a reverse three point turn in the middle of a major street.
