Anyone else with a 2006-2007 get the recall notice today? I'm terrified to take it to Marin Honda. I'm thinking about the parking garage scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I know there are the odd horror stories out there about dealerships, but in all honesty I don't know why people are so scared. I work at a Honda dealership and 80% of the techs don't get excited when a "nice" car comes in. If an S2000 shows up they just give it to me because everyone knows I have one and I know my way around one, but I've yet to see someone hum and haw over one and go drive the piss out of it, or any car we get for that fact.

Good to know. Mostly I'm worried about there not being a guy like you there, who knows his way around the car.

Yeah got a recall notice today as well. There is another thread discussing this more thoroughly. I can't say I have ever had a bad experience at any Honda dealership honestly, other than not being able to just book and appointment and have service done while I wait. But that isn't much of a concern.

I had no issues at all having my CAT and o2 sensor replaced at Honda of Serramonte under warranty. Most car dealership horror stories are people with unrealistic expectations, and every once in awhile the dealership will make a mistake but rarely have I seen any situation where it wasn't completely taken care of.
