Default My trip to comptech.

I left at 7 this morning from fremont, to drop my car off at comptech to get the blower installed. Got there in about 2 hours, give or take.

I have nothing but praise for these guys. I see why their reputation is so well deserved. Bob showed me the entire facility, including engine shop, water-dynos, dynojet, lots of cars (two sc'd s2ks.....one of which, by the way, was sporting a prototype aftercooler...), a beautiful nsx with just about everything possible done to it.

Even the dog was friendly! They also arranged for a rental car to come and get me.

I can see these people actually "caring" about a car theyve worked on, which is worth its weight in gold. I cant wait to pick up my car tomorrow.

80 East, 50 West, Exit El Dorado. About 100 miles away. Outskirts of sacramento.

7 hours to install, this include a pre and post dyno run as well.

Very nice.

The Comptech sponsored S2000 kicked some serious a$$ in the upcoming C/D tuner challenge.

Did you notice how clean their shop was? I was amazed when I visited them two years ago...
