With a lot of pressure from Joe (Quick Silver), I finally got around to loading my track day video from Thunderhill. I finally just watched the finally video after throwing it together late last night.
Alright David, great stuff.
I agree with spacecowboy, good recovery at turn 14.
I also agree with you, in turn 3 (Which you edited out) it looked like you
came in a little to hot and got of the gas a little to late. Probably slightly
hit the brakes causing the car to become unweighted...
Its a hooot when the car gets squirlie on you...
It happened to me in turn 6...

I got to get a camera mount for my car... Great job David...
BTW, I got your rotors turned and ready for another go-round...
Remind me to give them to you when I see you

Thanks for recording David. For the next event at T-hill on the 21st, I will have my passenger seat in, so I could give you a ride if you wanted. I have another friend that is coming along too in a E36 M3. You should definately get a ride with him. He's very fast and smooth.

And we'll definately get some Pho after.

As you will see, it's not very good, and one of the clips I put in there do not really match my comments, particularly the 5th session video clip. Instead of going faster in the lap, I actually almost lost it in turn 14. But anyways, here is the clip on youtube. Hopefully you guys enjoy it and maybe more people can come out and make there own little track video.

Comments or criticism about the video or my driving are welcome.

See you guys at the track
Fun isnt it??? :-)

Looks like your runing in the 2:20 range, pretty good. A couple point of advice...this is how I do it, could be wrong, but I can run 2:10's.

1. Carry more speed into turn #1. You should be drifting to the outside red/whites, while you were slow enough to the point you turned the car in, instead of it working its way to the outside.

2. You turned into the inside of #2 about 100 feet too soon.

3. Take a more central line over the rise into #3.

4. #4 and #5 looked good.

5. downshift in to 2nd into #10 and peg it off the limiter into #11, stay in 2nd until right befor ethe apex that take you out onto the back straight.

6. I think you know what happened in 14.

Be safe and have fun.
