Default My top is not going down

I checked the fuse and it looks fine but I can't make it to work. Any place where I could be able to check it out?? or any ideas..

Does the e-brake light come on when you have it engaged?

Alcohol? I've always found that to be very effective in getting tops down.

Seriously post in under the hood you'll get better response.

First check e-brake
then fuses
then motors
if you're not sure what you are doing get a tech to look at it.

I tried with the hand brake and nothing happens , then I tried the fuses and I found two on the right side of the engine and they look fine. How do I know that the engine for the top is out. Where exactly is it ? any idea.

do the trouble shooting process of elimination:

1. when you press the button, does the motors make noise?
2. Is the top latch un latched?
3. does it move at all?
4. is the car on?
5. ebrake up?
6. ebrake light on or off?
7. can you open manually?

Even though the fuse look okay, you might want to replace it and see if that helps or not. If your car is still insured, then you should be ok. Can you hear motor when trying to fold it down? Does it move at all? Could be your e-brake.

The motor doesn't make any noise, I am not sure about the ebrake light on. Mostly likely is not on but the hand brake is pull up all the way. I am going to check it after work. I can't pull the top manually is kind of hard or stock. But when I press the boton with the car on and top release still doesn't make any noise.
