I've been contemplating on throwing a c5 motor in mine if something were to happen. I'm sure they can't be too much more than a AP1/AP2 longblock but it's everything else that is going to cost an assload of money though. Wiring/ecu/fabrication etc.

I personally couldn't put another engine in the car, I bought the car for the engine after all.

Have the money to fix it, but I just don't want to take the time to do so and then end up not really driving it again. Selling it today so moving on. A bit sad, but it's definitely time to move on. Maybe one day I'll find myself in one again, but for now I don't have the time for a "toy" and got other priorities.

So for the few members I've met from this forum and from my lurking of the forum, thank you. This forum is awesome and filled with good people. I've been nothing but a lurker on this board and have learned so much. My only regret was not getting to know more of you and becoming more involved with the board. I know I missed out on a tight knit group of good people, so that's my only regret in the years I've owned the car.

Bring your car to Blacktrax and they'll get you fixed up in a jiffy.

You will always have a chance to come back to another s2000

I think I know who your friend is, he's a good buddy of ours too!

Just to let you know but given your situation, $10k is the right decision.

What ever happened to this car?? I hope the doctors (Joey or BlackTrax) properly diagnosed it before it was declared "dead"
