sorry to hear about it vu. If you end up replacing the head let me know. I may be interested in picking up your damaged head. I've been thinking about picking up a damaged one for a bit to prototype an new valve system.

Got the head back from the machine shop yesterday. I just finished put the head bolts in. Next comes the camshafts. After that comes the hard part, the thermostat housing. Why couldn't they put it in a better place.

Well, got the car started this morning. Seems to be running okay except for there is too much valve noise, so I'm letting the engine cool down before I try adjusting the valves again. Some how I lost the pulsation damper assy. (the nut that attaches the fuel line to the fuel rain), so I had to "borrow" the one off my CRX. I was suprised that they were the same.

Well, my car is finally back on the road. After borrowing my buddy's cool valve adjustment tool, I re-adjusted my valves. Reminder to myself to not adjust valves at 2:30 am. 13 or the 16 valves needed to be re-adjusted. Car is so much quieter now.
