Default My other car was damaged and need help

So a few weeks ago, I brought my xb to a valey parking in downtown san francisco. The attendants decided to leave my keys in the car but my car locks itself. When I came back, they had to use an inflatable door opener and a long stick to try to open my doors. It worked but now the door is bent out about a few millimeters. The parking company isnt willing to pay for damages and is telling me that if I want to get any further with this, I can take them to court. They said that after thousands of times that they havedone this procedure, they never had any problems with it. They also said that it could be manufacturers defect. Any input with my predicament guys? Thanks.

Bend the door frame back and call it a day, it's not worth the hassle.

Really! I find it hard to believe that if that happened to your car, you would just turn the other cheek and deal with damages obviously caused by someone else's negligence.

Take them to court. IF they didn't have you sign a waiver or something before they bent the shit out of your door, then I believe they are liable for the damages. Just ring them up in small claims and don't let them win this.

I speak from experience, it's not worth the hassle unless you have absolutely nothing to do with your time and you're bored as all hell.
It'll take you a minute to bend it back and months of headache and hassle to go the other route.

A waiver doesn't cover damages as a result of negligence. Obviously the approach the valet company is taking is go ahead and sue us, we know you won't deal with the hassle.

"bent the shit out of your door" is this really what happened or did the upper part of the door frame get bent outward by a few millimeters? Let's not get crazy here.

Whatever happened, get a quote from a professional shop to fix/replace the door/hinge, whatever was broken. That will determine what really happened, and the cost to bring it back to the way it was.
