How about you pick up a british accent instead? Forget the tea.

jarod: converted from GBP -> USD, a similarly arranged flat (2 bdrm vs. 2 bdrm) is on average, slightly more than what we're paying here. from what i remember, they were going for somewhere around 600-720k for 2bdrm. since my company's pretty global, prior to going there, i considered moving as well, but have ruled out london because everything's so expensive there, and it doesn't make sense owning a car. regardless, it was a great experience.

ken: hmm, i swear i snapped one of an s8 but i may have deleted it for some reason i saw a few new TT's there, but wasn't quick enough on the draw to catch them.

oops *edit* just re-read jarod's post. not sure how much it is to rent over there. i'm assuming it's around 1500-2100 for a 1 bdrm per month but it's highly dependant on what location you're living in. if you're outside of london proper, then it'll be cheaper naturally.

Dude. . . I got the worst indigestion in Kensington. . . twice.

There are plenty of places to live if you're willing to use the local trains and not expect a tube station. Once you get on a tube line, the price starts climbing. And yes, by and large, housing is similar to here. . . but when you buy, you may not necessarily own. . .
