Default my engine is blown
so i need a new engine. honda dealership says i need to replace the block and head but say its going to cost me all together over 7 grand. does anybody have a spare used engine i can just replace? i know its a shot in the dark but i figure id ask. and, does anybody know a place where i can get it installed? im assuming joey?

If you are looking for an used long block, I would suggest a recycler such as HAP Recycling out of Sacramento.

I don't think Joey does motor swaps. Perhaps Blacktrax or a Honda service shop.

used motors can be had at about 3000. check craigslist. I always see a couple for sale.

Man, the Stealership wanted around $9k just to replace my cylinder head . Thankfully i brought it to Opak racing and they just said i needed to replace a bent valve and no significant damage to the cylinder head.
