I just purchased a silver/black at San Leandro today for MSRP with no forced options. They had this one and a red one arrive off the truck yesterday. They told me since it was the last day of the month, they would sell it to me for MSRP. They said on April 1st the price may go up, but who knows.
So, if any of you are interested in a red one, possibly at MSRP, give Rod Akobe (Internet Sales) a call and see if what he can do. The car was still there when I left the dealer at 5:00 today.
So, I am now official!!! One question, I am getting a grinding noise when taking off from a stop and once the clutch is about 3/4 of the way out. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does it go away or do I need to go back to the dealer.
Thanks

Congratulations on the S2000 purchase. Sounds like you got a good deal.
So now I'm wondering, does Pleasanton have more S2000's per capita than any other town?

Actually, Scotts valley could be correct because of the low population, but I KNOW there are at-least 8 registered in San Ramon. One thing that seems possible, the Tri-Valley (Danville, San Ramon, Dublin & Pleasanton) has probably got the largest S2k population per square mile of anywhere....

Saw a transporter this morning on 680 North with a bunch of Hondas including a red and a silver s2K so for a while at least San Ramon had two more cars upping the per capita to a new high level.
