I switched mine to KPH one time cause my friend wanted to drive my car to SF. He was driving very slow and saying how people seem to be driving faster than him. After about a good 10 mins, I just started laughing and finally switched back to MPH

Thanks to D-Outkast, I just found out you can switch indicators ...Now my question is, which one do you use? I've been using the KMH for the past 3 days.

Ok after almost a week of using KMH, I'll be keeping it like that.

I have been driving in KPH since December-ish (2010) for two reasons.
1. I don't want to look at the dash to figure out when to shift, better to know by the sound/feel of the engine.
2. I'm moving to a country that uses KPH next year.
3. Actually, it's on KPH because somehow my wife switched it and I'm too lazy to open the owner's manual to figure out how to put it back.

2- Never needed to do this - I trust you're prepping by also living on the new local time zone as well
3- it's a button, 3 seconds to switch back.
I find the entire notion that some people would driving around in a country with mph as the standard in kph silly. It must be a cry to be 'different'. As the end result is the same. Heck, why not get your speedo to display feet or meters per second. It would be even more useless.
