Default Moving to San Jose in Septemper

hey guys i'm moving to San Jose in the end of September and I was wondering what the s2k scene is like out there? I'm contemplating having my 2002 suzuka s2k shipped out there (around $1000 for shipping) or i can sell the car out here and buy another s2k when i get to Cali? I'm in Springfield, MO (kinda in the middle of nowhere) now. I noticed that many automotive vendors are located in California and this is great because it would save me tons of money annually from shipping costs. I'm not sure where exactly we are living in the Bay area yet but just wanted to find out some general info.

Convertibles in general cost more to buy out here in California, just due to the market, so you would likely take a hit selling yours and buying another. That doesn't take into account, you never truly know what you get when you buy a used car.

What do you mean by annual shipping costs?

The S2000 scene is pretty active here. The only place more active is Socal.

Recently it seems like the S2000 scene just got a bit bigger here in Norcal. More meets are happening and the turn out rate at the weekly meet has grown. I wonder if it is because of summer ending.

IMO if its only $1000 Its worth shipping out your car instead of going through bunch of hassle on buying another one.

Hit a Topdown meet then you'll see what's up

Anyhow, welcome to the South Bay!

What do you think you can get for your s if you sold it there?
You can probably find a clean 02 with decent miles for between 10 to 14k

not to mention ap2's are generally a few thousand dollars more soooo... lets weigh your options
