Fiesta Del Mar is my favorite thing about Mountain View.
i have never gotten anything except for the carnitas platter there, and probably never will get anything else. i mean wuts the point. too bad its too pricey to eat there everyday for every meal...otherwise...

I parked in a carport in Sunnyvale for about 3 years with my S if you wanted a rec for Sunnyvale. When I lived in Mountain View I had a different car (Jeep Wrangler) and parked it in a carport or in the front of the building (on California). But I had the top down all summer long and stuff in the back and it was never bothered.
Another thumbs up for Fiesta Del Mar. <drool> I might have to go there this week now!

its actually 3 mexican places that comprise of the burrito triangle. right off 101. one of them (la costena) holds the guiness record for longest burrito ever rolled.
i have eaten mexican food from sf to san diego. burrito triangle has some the the best mexican food around. each has their own strength and weaknesses.
if you are searching for value, la bamba has a solid super burrito.
if you like custom fantasy 10 dollar double meat carne asada burritos like myself, la costena is the best. this is the only place i get carne asada.
los altos taqueria has solid handmade tamales and tacos
in fact, i ll probably be eating at the triangle for dinner tonite!
or
ramen

In regards to mountain view, pretty much anything on the Los Altos side of El Camino is considered nicer. The housing around Castro St. is pretty decent too, but there are some not so nice areas (unfortunately, I would not want to live walking distance from Burrito Triangle... well, maybe a long walk.)
Make sure you check it out before you settle on a place.
I bet compared to NYC, the rent is cheap here!

$25 fix it ticket if correctable is if you put the stock one on and get it signed off.
The "just pay it" fine is around $150 ish. And if you get caught w/ it again, it's doubled I believe...
This is when I got pulled over in Santa Clara County. Can be different for other parts of the bay area.
