17 mile drive in Monterey... it is not a fast drive, but it is pretty nice scenery (ocean, trees, and 1 million bajillion dollar houses). You can stop off at a beach along the way and get some rays.

Watch out for stinky seaweed.

Edit: Alpine Road out to Highway 1 is also a nice drive.
Alpine road through Pescadero is awesome. They just repaved the roads heading into Pescadero.

The view of the ocean as you approach highway 1 is priceless.

Hwy 9 --> Hwy 236- the twistiest road I have ever driven in my life. Just watch you speed and don't take blind turn too fast- there are many and some are so sharp its crazy.

Highway 9 is sex.. hehe There's alot to do if your from the south bay

Caleveras (dangerous for a beginner, so maybe stay away from it)
Sierra
Quimby rd
-Can go up quimby to mt hamilton
--Go down the front side mt hamilton
--Go down the backside of mt hamilton (FUN!)
Mines rd (starts in livermore)
-Take a snack at junction (good burger joint)
--Go up the backside of mt hamilton
---Down quimby
---Down the front of mt hamilton
San Filipe rd
-Can be run itself
-Can get off onto Metcalf rd another fairly decent run
--Metcalf
---I think the end spits you out semi near to Hicks rd, another decent run
---I think the end also puts you near Hecker pass (Henry knows more about this one He's on these boards also)

There you go Should keep you busy for a while eh? Check out Google Earth, fun program to kinda scout out some twisties
