Default mount tires east bay Walnut creek, concord area

Hey guys,

Where is the best place to get tires mounted and an alignment done for cheap?

I got a quote from big o of $180 to install 4 new tires. Thought that was expensive.

That sounds about right, 25 a tire? 60 for a alignment + tax?

seems pretty standard unless you can get a hookup

It was $180 just to mount, and balance.

I called a different big o and they're $20 to mount/balance and $70 to align.

Can I get 4 tires in my car?

4 tires... in your s2? Not unless you're wearing two of them, one in the passenger and one in the trunk

I take it you have your tires already? If not order from tirerack and throw jim's name in the contact. You can have them delivered to installers, and tirerack has a pre-approved installers list when you order. (Really any shop will install your own tires, but theres usually huff & guff and they seem to give less service. So the tirerack list is nice, cause they don't care where the tires came from, in terms of the service you get)

If you remove your passenger seat, you can get 3 tires there and 1 in the trunk.

Or you could put 1 in the passenger, 1 in the trunk and make two trips. Or you could call a shop and ask if they do local transportation, a lot of those shops have a truck or two for wheeling tires around.

There's a bunch of options
