Were you planning on keeping the ap1 ECU? This would allow 9k on the F22c.

I was poking around and it seems for occasional 9K there are some members who have reported no issues with ap1 ecu and f22c motors. It would seem the best of both worlds.

How many miles did you get on your motor with 4.77 gears?

I'm thinking about swapping the ecu also if I do the f22c swap down the line. The gears were installed for about 7,500 miles before the motor blew.

Just within the past few weeks ive seen numerous low mileage f20c engines for dirt cheap like 1500. Of course I go check on craigslist now and find zero. I'm sure they'll start going up in price if everyone keeps swapping f20's into everything.

Man, you gotta tell me where to find those listings. Since when I first started looking for a motor about 2 weeks ago most people are asking 3,000+ for a 75k+ f20c and usually around 4k including tranny/ecu. Junkyards coming in at about 3.5k for 60k+ motors and ebayers asking ridiculous 5k.
