rofl, so if you don't mind, how in the hell do you get to these locations and when? it'd be so badass to do a car shoot right on the middle of an empty freeway

Jeff, to be honest, I don't plan them. I hear from the radio which roads are closed then bring a camera out. If it's closed and safe, then yeah I'll drive into there and take a pic. This year I couldn't go under the East 80 sign board. I brought my dog and some other props but when I got to the scene there were 5+ CHP patrol cars underneath.
