Post Max. Summer Tire Falken Azenis RT-615

I'm looking at buying the Falken RT-615 for my summer tires. Does anyone have/had experience with them? Also any advice on personal experience with any others brand for max summer tire would be nice. BTW: I don't care about wet traction these are strictly use for dry weather only. Thanks!

GREAT tires. 225/45/17 and 255/40/17

Tire noise is slightly higher, but everything else is excellent. Wear is on par with stock RE050's.

You should look into Yokohama AD07 as well.

Or if you REALLY want to have fun. Yokohama A048, Michelin Sport Cups. Those are R Compunds that are street legal.

RT615 is awesome autox tire.... they are good summer tires as well, but from experience in autoxing, those falkens RT215 (previous model) and TR615 tend to be greasy when its really hot....

so if you get it and the road temp is really hot and with long driving, dont be taking corners hard thinking you have a good tire coz you MIGHT understeer.

i give it 8 out of 10 for street driving. I'd go with Toyo T1Rs! for daily if you don't do autox, but Falkens are cheap... i know!

i wasnt saying RT615 is not up there, thats the best autox tire for the money, autox is not constant contact on course, you have time to cool it down and 615 work best that way... thats why RT615 is recommended for solo2 and not solo (road racing)

this guy is asking if 615 is good for daily during summer, that why i said not really coz it be on the road too long and too hot.

That good to know because the falken will be mainly for summer. I have two set of rims, the oe will be use for winter and the aftermarket is for dry weather. But if it get greasy on hot road than that bad, I really like the aggressive thread design on the RT-615. I guess i'll try the Toyo or Kumho, best bang for the buck at half the price. Thanks for all the replies everyone, keep them coming. Thanks!
