I drove this road two weekends ago on a sunny Saturday afternoon. No traffic, if you can believe it! Take Western Ave from downtown Petaluma, turn left on Chileno Valley Rd, and then straight onto Marshall Petaluma Rd, ending up at the town of Marshall on Tomales Bay. The road has good visibility, fun corners and elevation changes. No bikes, no traffic, grippy road. Then take highway 1 south to Point Reyes Station and the supermarket parking lot barbeque. Yummy!
