Haha, I suck at the mainland pronounciation of Mandarin though. The taiwanese "version" I'm a bit better at since it sounds more flat.

Too funny. Back in 1990, my friend who is black was telling me this true story. His best friend is Chinese. His Chinese friend invited him to a family dinner. You can guess what happened. During dinner the parents would point and say 'ni ga' all night. Of course, being polite he didn't say anything. But was close to walking out. After dinner, my friend asked his friend, 'what's up with your parent's with all the nigahs.'. He busted out laughing and said they were just pointing at 'that' dish for me to offer you.
