Maker Faire 2010
Maker Faire in San Mateo
Time: May 23rd, Sunday 11:00 AM Meet Time
Location: Multi-Level Parking Structure Near 960 Park Pl. San Mateo, CA
Cost: $25 at the door, $20 at participating discount areas, see below for ticket info.
Map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=...deb169ae9519a49
Details: We will walk from the parking lot to the Maker Faire, MakerFaire parking is expensive, crowded, and door-ding-tastic. I don't even like WALKING through that parking lot. The parking lot I've chosen was great LAST YEAR, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be this year, so if it turns out it's no good, we'll meet there at the very least and figure something out from there.
Alright, so I go to this every year because it's just all sorts of nerdy fun.
Don't know what the Maker Faire is? It's an event hosted by Make Magazine where people come to show off arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects. Lots of fabrication, cool exhibits, etc.

So take a look at some of the stuff below videos and pictures and check out the links, see if you wanna go.
