Rules are rules. When they are broken, there are usually consequences. It's how life works.
You don't have to be a paying member to use this site, but paying does come with a few perks. In addition, some people that pay actually WANT to support the site with their money.

I'm not happy about paying $20, but I do because I've made alot of money selling car parts to a community of trustworthy good people. It's worth it to pay the membership if you have alot of stuff to sell s2000 wise. Just bite the bullet and pay the membership. Otherwise, craigslist is a good market to sell parts on as well.
Hope you get this all sorted out. It's nothing personal against you, it's just the way things are my friend.

so i realized how stupid rules this site has.. and no I won't be back
here's my story
I don't believe in paid membership for so called online community forums.
So I ask for help to post something for sale section, then I get IBTL!!! WTF
stupid site with greedy mod. if they say its for security reasons, BS they why do paypal? plus locals meet up, never ship.
IBTL?
Big deal, i ask for help and you mod play by the rule? and always speed over the limit on the streets?? Tell me you never speed over the limit by at least 5mph?? this is like 2nd time my post as been treated like crime scene.
I guess it will be some dude on craigslist taking my 2month old
oh any why all of you using this site? i'm sure one of you is smart enough to start .org site for bay area... like good ol streetracing.org days.
Dumb site with dumber management.
last thing i need is someone treating my thread like its crime scene... tsk tsk tsk

I think it's worth it because S2ki provides some sort of buyer's protection. Instead of just saying, "sorry, you're SOL" when you have a dispute with another members, the moderators actually step in and try to mediate the situation. It may not do much if someone runs off with your money, but it's still more of a deterrent than what other forums provide.

Invision power also known as IP board charging more then $600 a month to s2ki. Some people needs to pay for this right? And we all share it , you know why because this site tought a lot of stuff to me. If i was able to install my own coilovers for free with the help of this side, i saved $200 and a lot more!! . So membership is nothing compared to it

I'm sorry, was there a point to this rant?
If you don't like the rules of an online community...leave?
You don't need to stand in the doorway shouting in at the people having fun, just mozey on out.
I don't have a membership, but you don't see me ranting and raving like a lunatic about not being about to sell things.
Sites made specifically for selling things:
Craigslist.com
Ebay.com
Sites NOT made specifically for selling things:
S2ki.com
This isn't a flea market, it's an online community for cars.
So, in the words of the honorable and wise Deadpool:
