Blacktrax Performance are the go-to S2000 guys in the Bay Area, and a huge supporter of our community.
+1 on Blacktrax

although, had no idea about the one here at arco (joey) may start to give this one a shot since its 8min away vs 45min away for SF peeps.
Im sure blacktrax is good but it's inconvenient for us out here in the SF area. Especially for the ones that work Monday to Friday. It's hard for us to make it all the way down there.

Joeys is considerably cheaper than blacktrax if you are concerned about budget.

Joey does great work. He put in my springs for me as well as changed my diff/transmission fluid and gave me some pointers and advice on the car overall since I just bought it.

I am curious though. What else aside from the valve adjustment should be done @85k? I'm wondering because I'm creeping up to 82k pretty soon and I'd rather be safe than sorry especially since I have no idea what the previous owner has done maintenance wise. I did what I thought would be the most important when I got the car.

When did you last get all your fluids changed?
- Oil
- Transmission
- Differential
- Coolant
- Brake Fluid

Oil, Transmission fluid, diff fluid 1k miles ago...

Coolant, brake fluid haven't been changed in my ownership. Do the track guys out there run the standard OEM fluids, or anything special? I want to do this especially since I can hear my pads getting lower. The squeal is becoming more apparent.

If the brakes are squealing, please make sure your not about to run out of pad.

Lots of the guys here run some special brake fluid, i can't remember the name.
