Hey guys,

My girlfriend is looking to purchase an used car. She wants to spend between $5k-$10k and it must be manual transmission. Currently, leading candidates are the Miata, Mustang, and Camaro. She's looking for something sporty and convertible. Given the budget, the model year will probably be in the mid-90's. Is anyone selling, know someone who's selling, or have other potential cars to suggest?

I may suggest Rx7 (might be slightly out of the price range?), or 80's Supra those come fairly cheap.

Mr2 turbo with Targa tops are good too.

I'm sure you'll find a miata though if anything.

A Del Sol was also on the short list of candidates (the gf really likes them a lot - she's probably even preference between a Del Sol and a Miata), but since the car will be a daily driver and needs to be reliable, mileage was a big consideration, and most Del Sols have a lot of miles by now...that's why I didn't mention it.

Anyway, PM or post the details about your car. A Del Sol is definitely considerable, just depends on the details.
