/\/\ Correct. It's not for me.
It's for my friend's boss in socal and he's looking for a clean title s2k for cheap that he wants to turn into a racecar of some sort.

That is actually a good Idea! pay a bit more for another that's in good shape and where your trying to get it at. unless you have pride in the one you have now.

Daniel, sell the shell, start fresh, this isn't a sell-out, its a new beginning. Make a fair offer, and this could be your ticket to a running S faster than you'd ever imagine. We all want to see you back on the road ASAP!

Oh well, the opportunity is available. I would at least present it to the interested party to see your options. IMHO, I'd rather lose the deposit for a motor & have a fresh slate + funds for a better street s2k than building your S practically from close to the ground up. Not to mention, its not really in the greatest condition as it sits for a rebuild street car but its perfect for a track car.

Daniel, inquire about getting a refund for the deposit, that would be a place to start. That way you aren't stuck with that looming on your decision. I think your best bet is trying to slang your car, and getting a new one since this OP wants what you have.

i lose the deposit if i dont follow through with the purchase we already discussed before i gave the deposit, thats not a factor i reflect though for the desicion

@op talk to your friends boss an find out what exactly he is looking for as far as engine and tranny involved in the purchase and let me know please
