Default looking for opinions.....

some of you may have seen a previous thread i posted about sourcing loose rear ap2v1 rims; to recap, one of mine has a crack in it, and its getting worse. so far, my search has been unsuccessful.

anyway, i just came up with a potential solution and wanted to hear what you guys think about it: how do you think it would look if i bought two 17x9 +62 TR motorsport c3s for the rear and ran them with front ap2v1s, given i would either get the c3s in black and then paint my front ap2v1s black or get the c3s in a different color and paint them all black (to ensure color consistency)?

i dont think itd look all that bad as ive personally mistaken c3s for ap2v1s (momentarily), and the black would obscure spoke differences further. also, if/when i go non-staggered, ill already have half a set of cheap rims.

so, what do yall think??

TR in the rear and ap2v1 in the front... in black.

not very noticeable when moving, but will be obvious when parked haha.

So curb rash on the wheels on CL is worse than driving on a cracked wheel? I think your priorities should change into buying one of the wheels on CL.

The tr and v1 look similar, but will be able to distinguish two different wheels.

thats a possibility, however, i dont really want to go non-staggered on the stock suspension. also, how much can i get for a set of 3 nice ap2v1s and 1 janky one? ALSO, id have to buy tires.

thanks for the responses guys!

So get them refinished? Would look worlds better than running 2 pairs of wheels that look barely alike, but not close to the same.
