looking for a dd...
i was originally thinking about selling my s2k and picking up an is350, but couldn't convince myself to let go of my s. it'll be way easier to be able to park my car anywhere w/o having to worry about coming back to a slashed top whenever i leave my hard top at home, but i'll probably end up being like those of you that get s2k withdrawal after selling it =P
so now i need a beater to drive more people around and to slap a bike rack on top. i've been scoping out craigslist for an unmodded 2000 civic ex coupe or si, but most of the ones i've seen are either modded or crazy expensive for what they are. anyone know other reliable sites to look for local cars? better yet, if you have one for sale or know anyone selling one, that'd be even better.
thanks!

If you are interested in a 1992 Honda Civic 4 door auto...PM me. I just bought a new daily so the Civic is just sitting collecting dust. It'll be under a G if you are interested. 142k miles.

i'm not a fan of the wooden trim, so i'd want a white is350 w/ the sport package. unfortunately, the exact trim that i want is rare to come by used, so that would mean i'd have to drop major bank on top of what i'd get for my s. i also don't want to have s2k withdrawals if i were to sell it
i was thinking of a commuter that's model year 2000 or newer so that i'd be able to take it on longer drives if need be - not sure if i'd enjoy taking a '92 model for long drives...

I sold my first S for an IS350, and I had S withdrawal. But after my Second S2k, I now have IS350 withdrawal.... go figure....
If you're going to get an IS350, I'd wait and get one when you are completely ready to make the switch.
My IS350 was the EXACT package I wanted, and it is very rare to find. I want another one now, but I haven't found a decently priced one with similar package.
I had a Glacier Frost Mica IS350, with Nav, Mark Levinson, Lux Package, Premium Package, 18's and parking sensors. Everything except radar cruise control (which I have YET to see on any IS350...)

i saw a demo that was on sale that had the radar cruise control, but the emblem on the front grill was larger and had this clear plastic over it - didn't like it one bit.

every time i see a non-s2k with s2k seats, i wonder whether the seats were purchased legally, or ripped from a parked s2k. as mine were stolen almost 2yrs ago and softtop destroyed, i'm willing to bet that more often than not it's the latter.
damn ricers.
