Default Looking for AP2 Spring, to match with some Yellows

So, I've been in the air about dropping some serious $$ on the ASM header, and the ASM single pipe... but I'm realizing its a lot of money to spend on making noise. (15HP for $2500 seems a bit out of whack).

This being said, I wanna do my suspension. Not looking for a drop, so I heard good things about Koni Yellows on AP2 springs.

Does this sound like a decent setup? If so, where should I go looking for the springs? Whats the best place to order the yellows... and whats the best shop for the job?

Feel free to toss in your opinions into the thread as I'm open for suggestions.

get coilovers. you're saving a ton of money by not going ASM. with the money you're saving, you could get a decent set of coilovers.

I've heard of people running the yellows on stock springs wit good results. They have a lower perch on them where it drops the car about 1/2". It seems like this may be a good choice for you since you are not looking to actually lower your car a lot.

Don't the Koni Yellows have softer compression than the stock shocks?

i believe so its the other way around. k,koni shocks has higher compression than stock shock (please, correct me if im wrong.) but like aznxfuse said its much better to have those coilovers. difference is you can actually play with your ride height against having shocks and springs

So wait, the Koni Yellows will get me a 1/2" drop? Thats pretty substantial for just a shock.

I'd get coilovers but I'm honestly not looking to mess with ride height all that much, and having had coilovers in the past, I know if you don't spend the money on a good set, then your ride quality is garbage.

I heard the compression is higher on the Yellows than stock, and the ap2 springs are a huge improvement over the ap1s... which is why I was considering that combo. Also, since I wasn't going to go all out on my exhaust, I figured I wouldn't need to go all out on my suspension either

So... is everyone still thinking I should just go and run co's? I know a good set of TIENS is going to cost me a pretty penny....
