Default Lifted Trucks Not Illegal

I know those who lowered their cars quite a bit get ticketed.
I, too, got a ticket a while back ago (not my s2k by the way).
While driving back home in my s2k the other day, I stopped at a signal light right next to this lifted truck. It dawned on me that the bumper height on that thing is basically level to my head. I don't even think about getting t-boned by that thing.
My bud told me that those things are not illegal. Is that true? If so..i call that .
You can go "low" and get a ticket. You can go "high" and not get a ticket. lol
aint making that much sense to me....

You can totally get a ticket for lifted vehicles. They have max bumper height regulations (you always notice how big rig trailers have the bracing to keep you from going underneath the rear tires if you rear end them), max height headlight locations (look at the BIG PG&E trucks how their headlights have been relocated from the original locations into the bumpers), mudflap laws to keep road debri from being flung back.

There are all kinds of laws. It is just which cop decides to enforce which one. Ricers are usually at the top of the list.

Lifted trucks don't seem to be harrassed that much by the MAN, but they sure are a danger on the roads. They can't brake or turn for crap, and they can't see anything unless its a 100 yards down the road. My RV probably handles better.

Yeah, I thought lifted trunks are illegal to drive on the streets.

In case of an accident, the trunk is bound to run cars like ours' over.

The same headlight laws cover trucks, as well. From center of headlight to ground min height = 22.5" and max height = 54", I don't recall the #s exactly. Also 3-link rear suspension is illegal, too. There's a lot of other things, too.
