I figure, every time I get behind the wheel I risk jail and/or death. I assume that risk by getting behind the wheel and if something happens then I am prepared to be fully responsible for my actions, including doing the time, paying the fines, dealing with all the trouble. I have NO right to bitch and moan about situations I got myself into, and the only one who should take care of cleaning up the mess is myself.
If you're not prepared to assume responsibility for your actions, don't take the assumed risk of getting behind the wheel. Simple as that.

I haven't found the S-02's to be all *that* bad. They're certainly not what I'd consider good in the wet, but they do fine if you're careful. I commuted through highway 17 last fall and winter on a set of S-02's with low tread, and they were fine...you just can't push the car too hard. Will be on Kumho Ecsta Supras this rainy season to see how they compare.
