Wish I could join you guys, but my brakes are toast and I'm waiting to get my Euro-spec floating rotors installed. Another track day on my current set would surely have me ending up in the ass-end of someone's car due to braking material disintegration. Next time I'll be there for sure, though

I posted this once already on the Russell Racing SP track day thread, but I though y'all who have never run the new configuration of Sears may find this in-car footage from a group 4 run couple of weeks ago useful:

Study up so you don't go off in turn 9, the exit is kinda tight. Oh, and try to avoid doing this in 8:

Needless to say, don't ever lift off of the throttle even a millimeter in a high speed turn, regardless of what your instincts tell you. The car's fine, I was just a little shaken. Whoa that was close. If you want to see more, rather entertaining vids from that track day, check 'em out at:

Have fun tomorrow and be sure to stay safe!

Cheers,

Kevin

The guy who wants to sell me his helmet went to Chicago and won't be back until later this week.

Can anyone who is going there on Saturday lend me his/her helmet for a day (I am going to Sunday)?? I need a helmet of size L or larger. I live in Mountain View at 237/85. My cell phone is 408-930-5988. Thanx in advance.
