the j's car has these style lights. when i saw them racing the amuse car i was like O_O i want!!. but i dont have a j's bumper so i duno lol. kaan should do it!! lol

if u like it and can afford to do it then do it, seems like an intersting project. if it comes out clean u can be the first to have it and people may follow.

I'm still tryin to locate an AP2 "donor" bumper, can't believe no one has one around here!

Lights are ordered so just waiting on UPS.....this project I'm really excited about........

Got the bumper enroute for Friday and finally found the LED lights so looks like this project is a GO - hopefully have something done before the homecoming

I say we find some lights and figure out a way to fabricate them in the housing themselves..


I've cleared headlights... they're not that hard to open

Thanks Brian for the thread, I posted on his as well but we are doing two different things.....

Taking headlighst apart is easy - mine are also cleared but I frankly do not think you can do what I have in mind internally anyways. The stock headlight looks perfect the way it is. I always thought the s2000 could use some bumper lights / reflectors for more visibility. Since I removed the amber pieces in my AP2 headlights I have no more reflector and just adding an LED turn signal / parking light bulb is not enough.

I'm hoping this DRL LED mod will really give the car it's unique character and be noticed on the road
