Wow, I might just have to take advantage of this and break my Track Cherry. I've had the car fr 5.5 years, and what better place to do than Laguna Seca.

What brake pads do folks recommend for a first time track newb?

i met mr.wall at Laguna and hes quite stern

stock pads/setup is fine

I have my track cherry as well. LOL.

Just curious, I have full coverage insurance on the S. But lets jus say (God forbid) anything were to happen, would my insurance cover it even if i was racing around a track?

read your policy. i know most companies do not cover anything, but have heard a couple do

doing a trackday is not a timed event, basically you aren't racing any body. If you have to report something, you were at a drivers safety training classes on a track.

It does depend heavily on your insurance provider, but state farm has been good.
