Wow that looks awesome. Care to share the price and details of how many sessions and how long for the track day.
Also what's required over stock to be able to get out on the track?

Laguna is one of the more expensive locations so this was $250 for 6 twenty minute sessions, which is more than enough time. Thunderhill is much cheaper, with most track days being $150 or less. Really the only thing you need over stock is better brake fluid and brake pads. If you are new to driving fast the stock brake pads may be fine, but most drivers would overheat them quickly and start eating them away very fast. I like Project µ brake fluid and pads. Many people use ATE super blue brake fluid (much less expensive) and Carbotech pads. Cobalt pads are popular as well.

All organizations require a helmet but only some (NCRC for example) require you to pass a broom stick test if you drive a convertible. Since most people are too tall in their torso to pass with just a seat and/or lower seat rails, many resort to putting a roll bar in.
If you want to take your S2000 out on a track more than a hand full of times you should look into getting a roll bar anyways. I did a few track days without one when I first started out but scrambled for one after the first time I saw a car flip. After seeing "shit happen" I personally wouldn't drive an S2000 on a track without one more than 7/10ths or so.
