I would think so too...just bring your rain gear cuz you are going to get soaked if we have to keep our windows down

In another thread, Greg said that it will definitely be rain or shine. The only cancellation resulting in a refund would have to come from the LS people.

Any answer on the hotel question? Greg suggests Embassy Suites ("official" hotel of LS); I'd at least like to look at other options.

Rylan, thanks for the offer, but after giving it some thought I decided I'll just drive up Sunday, arriving sometime in the evening. Until the market recovers, I'm trying to hold down my spending, and the combination of the NASA fees and the additional hotel time is a bit much.

Yes, the event is Rain or Shine.

Cal, No problem. If you change your mind lemme know.

My offer stands of anyone else too. I will be running group 3 (possibly 4) so I can be available if you need some assistance.

I've added a running list of local participants in the first message. Post here if you are attending either the NASA HPDE or the S2KCA event and I will update the list. See you there.

Between Thunderhill, Sears Point & the upcoming Laguna Seca event, I spend more time with you Bay area guys than I do with San Diego types.

For some reason, the San Diego guys don't have the esprit de corps (or whatever) to get together for events and meets like Orange County and the Bay Area do.
