So, it's $250 for the NASA track day and then your are spending another $250 on January's track day??? Wow, that get's pricey!! Wish I had the dough (especially since I live in Monterey) but I don't. I hope you guys have a great time and post some pics if you can!

Gil & Keith, do you have a Logitech Driving Force Wheel for GT3? If not, try it. Makes a big difference in car control, although it's not perfect.

I have the wheel too. It's much better than the controller, but not perfect. Definitely not a substitute for the real thing.

Hey Cal,

I too will be there on Saturday. If you like I can (unoffically) ride with/instruct you. Just register for group 2. At nasa Groups 1 and 2 run on the track at the same time anyway.

Of course I am not a NASA "approved" instructor.

When you instruct at Thunderhill, is that for SCCA or some other organization?

How did you get that S2KCA logo under your name?

Yes, that is for SCCA. I also instruct for a couple other people to host schools/track days.

NASA requires a race license to be an offical instructor. I don't have any plans to get my race license for a while.

Oh yeah, the s2kca member badge is something that we have put together for s2kca. Greg should be uploading the full member list at some point.
