Jeff your pics are always nice to look at and I appreciate all the work you put into them.

The stuff below, in no way means I dislike any of them nor does it mean I could have done anywhere near what you've done.

First pic: car's slightly off center and the light on the upper left is kinda distracting.

Third pic: Looks noisy and has an interesting tone or white balance. I'm sure it was meant to be like that unlike my pics but looks a bit odd to me.

Fourth pic: Very cool but odd glow on front fender.

Fifth pic: I like the shot but not the lens distortion.

Seventh pic: Depth of field either too shallow or not shallow enough because it looks kinda blurry. Wheel is in focus.

Ninth pic: Just curious was it shot with the lens at wide angle or zoomed in. Not sure if your EXIF info tells you what you were at? don't expect you to remember

Thank you Jeff

you going this weekend?

I saw the same car here in Elk Grove/Sacramento yesterday except with gold rims. That car is hot.

mac: thanks totally for the constructive comments. definitely need more posts like that!

in response,
1. Yeah, agreed on both comments. The pole down the middle works out but it looks like the car isn't completely centered. This was Richard's shot (natcc99 on the bottom left) but I guess we should pay attention to these kinds of details more next time.

3. Yeah, I think he was going for the mysterious look for this one, so that's why it's a bit dark and grainy with that kind of color. He purposely edited a lot of these not 100% representative of reality w/ the colors for a more artistic feel, and that's something I've been trying to go for lately.

4. Ah, I didn't notice that. It was probably from his headlights coming back up. Good spot on this detail.

5. We had a few more versions of this and ended up with this one as our favorite. Lens distoration being the wide angle that it was taken at?

7. Handheld in the car at a fairly high iso...didn't want to bump it up anymore than I already did.

9. You can go to my album and see the actual pic, then click info to get the exif info for all shots. This one in particular was at 18mm f/3.5 1/4 shutter speed (handheld on the wheel)

Probably not making it out this wknd...taking a short break to save some money for bigger/better things, but it'll come down to the actual day. Honestly, I'm pretty happy w/ my results last time so as to give me a tiny break from driving

Love the interior shots, and the outside one are nice too, but I am not a fan of BMW two doors, since I think the back ends behind the doors are much to long.

great shots. I need to learn to shoot better. I'm definitely an amateur but have been itching to get better.

tcho: all it takes is practice and a couple good guides, and it's pretty easy to pick up from there.

ptype: yeah, 328

thanks for the compliments/criticisms guys
