Hi all,
The city was given literally 1 million dollars for this stunt....NO BS!! Also, the bay bridge was never closed down. The CHP just slowed the traffic down enough to allow him a window of opportunity to do his stunts. I'll think twice next time traffic is slow... There wasnt much time for him to do a lot of his stuns. He had to get a lot of them right the first 2-3 times. There was a lot of strategically timed windows of opportunity to get those shots.

I think he is that good, but obviously this is a ton of clips molded together into the appearance of a single straight run. It's evidenced by all the track marks from previous (failed) runs in the form of the tire tracks. I don't think there are any special effects at all. It's live footage from go-pro and other cameras.

This was good especially because in the beautiful SF. But my favorite is still the first Gymkhana Practice video, the one with the 2006 Subaru Impreza STI. That Subaru is brutal

So is he really as good as the video shows or special effects?
He is really good, I think. Pure entertainment value! He really knows how to whip the car and make it spectacular. Which is a feat on its own. As far as rally driver, he tried his hand on WRC and let's say the result wasn't that good. Not to take away from his ability, as he was competing among best of the best. I think a good comparison is Harlem Globetrotter and NBA All stars.
