Kelley as usual is dreaming, Marvin. Case in point....2000 silver/red I first saw on eBay last summer for $40K from "Tiffany" in Antioch. After getting a rude reply from her on her optimistic pricing ("You'd have to ask Concord Honda...that's what I paid") I continued to watch with amusement as that car popped up on eBay and other spots for decreasing prices with no bids. At last viewing she was down to I think like $33K something with no bids and all options like yours Martian. And now I think there were 7000 miles on it. Obviously a major hose job from Concord Honda, but that's life.....
So Marvin keep your car, drive it any damn way you like, and enjoy it!!!

It is very hard and tricky but still possible to drive an S2000 below 6k rpm all the time, but beware - your VTEC circuits will get rusted and it will greatly depreciate your car...

db,
Next you're going to post something such as "it's just a car...", or some such blasphemy!
Hope to met you at one of the lunches or drives later in the summer.
Don
Why does your wife want a puppy when she can wash, polish, and gas your s2000?

Bob, I know the car is not worth anything near what the Kelly Blue book says. A used S2000 should be worth only $28,000 to $30,000. I just wanted to share what came out as value from the blue book valuation. The same Blue book calculated my 2000 Acura as being worth more after a year than I paid for it ?!?
I have no illusions about what the car is worth. The auto industry makes sure that nearly all new cars go down in value. The fact is that a car is rarely an "investment" it is an expense.
