This is why I don't buy anything unless I can meet in person. Too many people are ****ing shady, especially in the bay...not because bay people are shady, but just the fact of the sheer number of car enthusiasts here. Theft is high here, so is scamming. The best is when people scam, get caught in the middle of it, and then threaten the people that caught them.
