No... I do know there's a K in Dublin at the Greek burger place every Fri and Sat (I think). Lots of songs I here but I've never been. My buddy and my son have.

Sounds like a wierd place for K but I hear it's good.

A group of friends and I went to the "Rookie Karaoke" in Japantown. It's right next to Denny's. There was another place upstairs, but it was full that evening , so we just gave it a go!

They had the best drink I've ever had!!!

Some yogurt sake drink that was $25 a bottle, which only allowed the 6 of us one drink per person. Pricey, but I ended up buying 3 bottles that night, one bottle for myself though

I sang some Frank Sinatra, Eric Clapton, Elvis, etc...

Their selection in English wasn't to bad, but that night I pretty much sang anything that my friends played.

The place is small and you sing in front of everyone, but I had a good time!

oh, thanks, great input! I just want to make sure that the English song selection is good. Since "K" seems to be mostly an asian phenomenon, most K places in the bay are either predominantly Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.

There's a few that I go to -

In San Francisco there's DoReMi on Post, I think - in J-town.

In Millbrae there's Millbrae Karaoke - on El Camino Real - exit Millbrae Avenue - small venue but they always have new songs.

In San Jose there's Karaoke World on El Camino - right after you pass Lawrence Expressway. Right down the street there's an awesome hot dog place called Chi-Dog - the closest thing I've found to a real Chicago one!

Enjoy!

Yep, lots and lots of English stuff there, and they're cheap too! My friends and I go so often, I swear we're the ones keeping them in business. We usually only sing English songs too, except when my Vietnamese friend (that thinks she's Chinese!) sings Chinese songs.

It's in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale.
