Yes that's how it works, if you want pics, I can post some.

^ That looks odd & disturbs the airflow for the rear diffuser, decreasing its efficiency. There is a reputable tuner group on the Lotus Community that did a study on the aero for the Lotus Elise/Exige in which, they found that with the way Lotus created the "through-diffuser" exit for the exhaust - basically the exhaust tips exiting through the rear diffuser;lowered the efficiency & created turbulence. The recommended solution was to seal up the hole & exit the exhaust above the rear diffuser which increased the DF.

Amuse did the same thing for their exhaust setup, exiting above the rear diffuser.

Agreed stock spoiler looks so out of place with that extravagant body kit. Stock doors too, they seem kinda out of place.
What do you mean by "stock" doors, is the kit supposed to have something on the doors?

Hardtop is easy to add so that isn't too much of a concern.
Look at the line along the profile of that kit. As best I can see every body panel is widened and meets the lines of other body panels but the doors look sunken in. I guess it's just my opinion that the look is odd. If the doors flowed with the rest of the depth of the kit I'd be more of a fan.

Front fender, rear over fender, and side skirt things are all matching. The door just looks "stock" and by stock I mean "not an extravagant body kit".
