Is it removable without tearing up the seat?

I'm certainly no expert in this and would love to see what others here have done.
While having a diagonal is required for most/all sanctioning bodies, most HPDE only groups have no specific specs for roll bars.

The cushions are attached with velco, so extremely easy to remove as needed. I wash mine on occasion.

the seat cushion is a good place to start if you are not fully setup at the moment with proper clearance. You can then look in to bolt on roll bar solutions in the future & if necessary, lower seat rails depending on what rails you are currently on. Taitec rails offer a low seating position compared to Bride, Buddy Club & Mugen rails.

I recommend Nagisa rails, they go lower than my buddy club f1 did, and for $100 more your seat will actually slide and the mounts will have proper welds.

I got mine from gt motoring.

This. I hate it when people say "NCRC will pay for your rollbar!".

Woo Hoo! What a fun time it was! The weather forecast was quite gloomy, but it turned out GREAT! A little wet at the beginning, but completely dry by mid-to-late-morning. There were 5 other S's out there, but I think I only talked to one other owner, from SF (sorry, forgot your name already). I did spin off into the mud once on turn 14, as I got a little too excited, but no damage.

A special shout out goes to BlackTrax Performance for hooking me up with a Recaro SPG with BC rails (re-welded) that allowed me to pass the broomstick test by about 1/4" (without slouching). They didn't actually do the test at the track, though. Additionally, BlackTrax dyno'd the car and found that I had the wrong plugs and the engine was running WAY too lean (FPR backed all the way out), so they fixed all of that for me and the car ran beautifully! I can now feel some extra boost kicking in above 6K that I didn't feel before.
