Yup. Most of my friends that have extensive non CARB mods do so. I would love to do more mods buts most aren't CARB legal.

I've gotten tired of getting pulled over for chicken a$ $ tickets.

Drew gave up getting tickets so he put on his front plate. No plate is like a "pull me over OCCIFER" magnet.

 

Yeah you do AFIAK. For a ref to "inspect" your car it'll cost you. It was $35 long ago.

Inspection is NON-refundable. If you prove you are innocent the court will refund your bail. But you already lost out on the inspection.

I had a friend sent to the ref and when he did they asked if "OCCIFER xxx gave you the ticket" He said yup... ref laughed. WTF?

wowzers 20 replies haha. Yeah My evo doesnt have a bracket I was lucky and mine was never drilled. I think ill stick to the zip ties and double stick tape just to be on the safe side. Does anyone know if ANY cop can sign the ticket off?

 

Any cop should be able to. Just don't pull him over to do so. They can look over your car again so make sure everything is honky dory before you get it signed off.

Because us imports always get the short end of the stick due to poor judgement from our officers. I never see this bullshit happen to domestics or choppers/noisy ass motorcycles.

Youre right; since when are you guilty until proven inoccent? Last I heard it was innocent until proven guilty.

In short, if you drive an import, especially if it is done up nice - you will get profiled & 9/10 times, chances are youre going home with a citation.

 

It was a ****ing joke anyway I can't get too mad , I actually think having the s2k would have saved me in this case. It was pretty bad this time though. I was minding my business driving the speed limit and he begins to pace me and read me the riot act. Anyway one cop was cool but the other kept saying that I must have an illegal fuel system and kept mentioning a fuel pressure regulator etc. what a joke oh well. I cant be too mad we do drive imports .
